For who?
The focus of this event is academic research on process mining in Belgium. So if you are a Belgian researcher in this field, this event is for you. This does not mean other participants will be sent home. If you are not a Belgian process mining researcher and still want to come, feel free to contact me for an invitation.
Where and when?
This event will take place- at September 24 2012
- at Ghent University, Hoveniersberg 24, leslokaal 7, 2nd floor
What to expect?
Wil Van der Aalst has agreed to give a short keynote (see below).
We should have plenty of time to get to know each other and each others research. Every participant is welcome to prepare a presentation, demo, question session. We try to schedule for lots of time for feedback and discussion after each presentation. The setting is rather informal. There are no proceedings. A detailed program will be sent to the participants a couple of days before the event.
How to register?
A number of researchers will get a personal invitation by e-mail. A simple reply would be enough to register. Other researchers should send me an e-mail with their name, affiliation and a rough idea about her/his (planned) research in the process mining field. Please register before 15 March 2012 the latest to give me the chance to make arrangements for the lunch and coffee breaks!
Registration fee
A registration fee of 10 euro has to be paid in cash upon arrival. This will cover expenses for the breaks and a simple lunch.
