Short bio. Jan Claes is working on an educational innovation project at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ghent University. The project involves using AI to provide personalised feedback on students' written assignments. He is also a lecturer in computer science at Ghent University College (HoGent). He holds a master in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science (HoGent) and in Business Economics (UGent) and a PhD in Applied Economic Sciences (UGent) and in Industrial Engineering Sciences (TUEindhoven). He has been teaching to thousands of students in economics and computer science programs. He published in several outstanding journals (including DSS, ESWA, and ISF) and conferences (including BPM, CAiSE, and ECIS). More info at www.janclaes.info.
