Abstract. After a COVID-19 infection, the body’s immune system can go into overdrive, causing both inflammation and abnormal blood clotting, a process called thrombo-inflammation. This starts with the virus damaging the inner surface of blood vessels, which triggers the release of inflammatory molecules and activates platelets, the cells responsible for blood clotting. As a result, tiny clots can form throughout the body, and inflammation and clotting feed off each other in a vicious circle. This ongoing thrombo-inflammation can persist long after the initial infection, leading to Long-COVID. The small clots and inflamed blood vessels can block oxygen and nutrients from reaching tissues and organs, causing a wide range of symptoms.

Several concentrated vitamin or other supplements are reported in literature to have a positive reactive or proactive effect on (the consequences) of this thrombo-inflammation. This paper provides a brief overview of relevant literature and a brief case study report on how I successfully implemented a strategy based on five of the identified supplements. Symptoms significantly reduced after only a few days of supplement intake.
